Since antiquity, honey is considered to be not only a staple nutritional product, but also the base for cosmetic and pharmaceutical products. Greek honey is one of the most recognized products worldwide because of its high quality, strong taste and wonderful sense. The combination of the Greek warm and dry climate, the versatility of Greek flora and the traditional knowhow of beekeeping all lead to an end product of great value.

Ideally, all honey varieties should be stored away from the sun and heat, ideally in a dark and cool place. Despite this general guideline, it is noteworthy that all honeys endure, through time, natural changes. Honey crystallization is a natural effect that does not affect the quality of the product; to the contrary crystallization indicates the purity of the product. Depending the type of honey, crystallization occurs at different speeds and to varying extents.
